PTI's February Blog Hop is all about interactive cards.  A long time ago I found directions for and made a slider card.  It's so surprisingly simple to make!  Here's the video that first got me started.  I decided to find that video again and give it another try.


There are really so many things you could do with this design!

Dies: PTI Mat Stack, Fancy Flourishes
Other: Corner Rounder Punch, Hole Punch, Twine, Spring Moss Ribbon

  11. Beautiful as always, Kara! I was familiar with the slider technique before, but I've only made packets for cocoa. Thanks for sharing the Jennifer McGuire video, both you and she have inspired me to try the technique on a card!

  20. What neat flourishes on this one Kara. I love the idea of a slider card, I have never made one of them but am going to give it a go very soon. I also loved the stamps you chose for this one, the flowers are really pretty when you pull out the tag.

  23. Kara, this card almost has a Hawaiian feel to it...I love it! The colors, the text paper, and the really awesome pull out section...no need for Movers and Shakers for you...you can do it on your own!
